Server Mods

These are client-side mods required to experience server features that need a matching mod on your end. Install them by placing the files into your .minecraft/mods folder (create it if it doesn't exist). Risugami's ModLoader is required.

Seasons Client

The server runs the Seasons plugin, which cycles between Winter and Summer with different weather patterns. The client mod visually changes rain on the server to snow if it is winter season and mutes the sound.

Download SeasonsClient.zip

Useful Mods

These optional mods enhance your Beta 1.7.3 experience. All require Risugami's ModLoader (see below).

Risugami's ModLoader

The classic mod loader for Beta 1.7.3 — required by most mods listed here. It lets the game load mods from the mods folder without modifying the jar directly.

Download ModLoaderFix for b1.7.3

OptiFine

The essential performance mod — boosts FPS, adds HD texture support, fog control, and many visual options. Highly recommended even on modern hardware.

Download OptiFine for b1.7.3

LegacyVoiceChat

Adds proximity-based voice chat — talk to nearby players (within 48 blocks) using your microphone instead of typing. The server runs LegacyVoiceChat version 0.1.0 on port 25566. See the Plugins page for server-side details.

Download LegacyVoiceChat

Caution: You can connect to a server with LegacyVoiceChat without the mod installed, but you can't join a server without the plugin if you have the mod installed.

Beta 1.7.3 Custom Sounds Fix

Fixes broken sound effects in Beta 1.7.3 by replacing the outdated sound system. Restores all missing or silent sounds.

Download Custom Sounds Fix

This is a jar mod — in MultiMC/Prism, right-click your instance → Edit InstanceVersionAdd to Minecraft.jar and select the downloaded file. Do not place it in the mods folder.
